History of formation of the supply agreement in the Russian legislation

The article is devoted to the history of the formation and development of the institute of the supply contract in the Russian legislation. The rules of the contract and doctrinal ideas about the contract of delivery in various historical stages are considered. It is concluded that the current Civil Code of the Russian Federation was formed under the influence of the historical tradition of separating the rules on supply for state needs into a separate paragraph, taking into account the peculiarities of the subject composition of relations and the procedure for concluding this contract.
