Of history and development of the banking system in Russia

The article discusses the origin, formation and development of the banking system in the Russian Federation, the study of its features, as well as negative aspects of banking activity in Russia in the development process of their system. According to the carried-out analysis, the first stage of development is provided as an inefficient single-level credit system, the second was directed to the complex reconstruction of the system of the economic relations in the field of the credit. Authors pass in the conclusion to a conclusion that the bank system represents one of the most important and integral structures of market economy and the national economy.
