History of the origin and development of the gallery business

The article deals with some issues of the history of the gallery business emergence and development. Gallery business has come a long way from an elite pleasure, to a place where economy and business are closely intertwined with art. The annual turnover of today's domestic market is estimated at about 20 million dollars. For comparison, in France, it is estimated in billions. In the West, a person who capitalizes on their fixed assets at the expense of works of art has tax benefits, since they are involved in the process of creating cultural values that will remain in the state.
