Historical criminological analysis of militia activities in the Primorye region during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)

The article deals with the political, economic, social, moral and psychological factors affecting the main activities of militia in the Primorye Krai during the Great Patriotic War. The author comes to the conclusion that under the circumstances the law enforcement bodies needed to be reorganized to work in the conditions of wartime. The main objectives were: solution of personnel problems, organization of interaction with population, strengthening of crime control, prevention of children's homelessness and neglect, fight against desertion and evasion from mobilization, suppression of defeatist hearings.
