The article is devoted to the study of the problem of formation and development of inclusive approach in education in the Republic of Italy. The evolution of formation and development of inclusive education, its specific features and characteristics, as well as the practice of inclusive approach in the educational process of Italian schools and universities are considered. On the basis of the historical and pedagogical analysis of the problem the process of formation of the legislative base of inclusive education is presented, the key features in the organisation of the educational process on the basis of inclusive approach are revealed and substantiated, the specificity of its implementation in the Republic of Italy is specified. The article emphasises the effective practical experience of introducing the inclusive approach in school and university educational practices in the Republic of Italy. The necessity of taking into account this experience in the organisation of inclusive education under the condition of a detailed analysis of positive and possible negative moments, as well as the real national conditions and opportunities of their country for their implementation is emphasised.
