Historical and pedagogical study of local lore as regional component of educational standard

Theoretical aspects of historical and pedagogical study of local lore, its aims, targets and contents are analysed in the article. Algorithm for regional material research is highlighted, pedagogical conditions for efficient mastering local lore material are created, characteristic features in the development of education in Yuzhno-Zauralskaya Province of the Western Siberia are described.
