Historical and legal analysis of the interaction of the mass media with the internal affairs bodies in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Russia

The article is devoted to the historical and legal analysis of various aspects of the interaction of the mass media with the internal affairs bodies in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the activity approach, the interaction of internal affairs bodies with the mass media is considered as a special type of professional activity of representatives of law enforcement agencies and the mass media. Within the framework of the normative approach, the interaction of internal affairs bodies with the mass media is considered as a type of proper behavior. The problems of interaction between the activities of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the implementation of interaction with the mass media are identified, and proposals for improving the legislation are formulated to eliminate gaps. Conclusions are drawn about the need to develop a unified strategy (concept) of cooperation between law enforcement agencies with the media and civil society, which will allow achieving public trust and support of the population.
