Historical and social aspects affecting personality in the West, USSR and Russia

Бесплатный доступ

Activity in society is impossible in the absence of certain common moral norms. There has to be a socially endorsed 'agreement' about what social behaviour is acceptable and what is not. Some of the general norms of behaviour are written down through laws and regulations and in some cases are moral and ethical, and have become customary and clearly observed by most members of society. In order to investigate the differences in such attitudes and determine the aspects that influence personal qualities, the article formulates the features of the Soviet and Russian moral and ethical model, identifying their differences in comparison with the model of the Western civilization.
