Historiography of legal education development as a factor of legal socialization

Contemporary state education policy in Russia is characterized by compehensive renovation in all elements of the education system in accordance with the real life requirements and the need to solve the actual social problems. Training the legal culture of juvenile offenders is one of the areas. Hence, it seems important and topical to discuss the historiography of legal education development as a factor of legal socialization of personality. Historical and cultural preconditions of the formation of the problem of legal education are discussed, the main concepts of historiography, factor, socialization and legal socialization are specied. The main research directions are identied.
