From charities history on the example of Chita (in the end of XIX - the beginning XX-th century)

The formation and development of charity to migrants at the end of nineteenth - of the beginning of twentieth century occurred by help intelligentsia, merchants and local administrations. The first charitable committees on assistance to immigrants were appeared on private initiative in Zabaykale.
