From the history of publishing houses and scientific institutions that published books on art in Uzbekistan

The article deals with the organization of publishing books on art in Uzbekistan in the period from 1959-1982, the activities of publishing houses and scientific institutions that prepare and publish books on art in the republics. The publication in the Republic of books on all types of art, research on the history and theory of certain types of art, scientific publications of art history literature is considered. The article analyzes the trend of qualitative improvement of the content and printing design of book publications, the increasing role of art in the life of society, the relevance of the problems of moral and aesthetic education, in solving which an important role belongs to art books. The necessity of a special study of the organization of book publishing in the field of art is determined, it shows the relationship of book publishing with the development of art itself and the science of art-art history.
