This article is devoted to identifying effective mechanisms and socio-cultural technologies for the formation of the national-patriotic worldview of youth in the modern information and communication environment. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of modern approaches to the patriotic education of youth through the work of the Council of High School Students with the borrowed system of "coaching". This direction of research is promising, and its main advantage when working with schoolchildren is to increase the effectiveness of activities, independence and speed of progress towards the set goal.
