From the experience of the creative activity of the students’ folk ensemble "Ulger"

The article сonsiders the creative activity of the students’ folklore ensemble "Ulger" performing under the guidance of the Department of Ethnology and Folk Art Culture of the FSBEI HE "East Siberian state Institute of culture". The author reveals the specifics of the folklore ensemble activities, determines the importance of the folklore group which contributes to the preservation and popularization of the traditional cultural heritage, formation of the national identity of the younger generation. The development of talents, knowledge of the traditions of folk culture, ethnographic authenticity allow the students’ ensemble to represent the Buryat people successfully both within our multinational state and abroad.
