Flaws of legal education as causes of mistakes in law enforcement

In legal literature law enforcement mistakes are justified on the basis of defects in legislation, indeterminacy in law, flaws of tools for maintaining legality, excessive workload, and other problems in judicial system functioning. There are many scientific practical researches and forums, which are organized on the subject in order to find a uniform solution to problems in legal practice. However, one rarely pays attention to dependence of law enforcement quality on legal education content. Despite all efforts in lawmaking and law enforcement “fundamental” legal researches, problems in law enforcement are enduring like coronavirus. The end of the famous reprise by M. Zhvanetsky crosses one’s mind: “Maybe something is wrong in conservatory?” Analysis of lost games is the best way to develop for a professional chess player. To seek out mistakes and causes of them and to look into their removal is the path to success. We should do the same by analyzing fallacious solutions in law enforcement. Such analysis allows to find their causes in legal education and to determine requirements to the last. It is to be done not within the scope of futile remarks on the state of law or existing educational scientometric indices, which are only good for abridging academics’ salary, but of legal technology.
