The article presents the results of studies on the effect of the drug Azitronit on protein-nitrogen metabolism and biochemical parameters of the blood of cats with chlamydia. Found that the drug Azitronit had a positive effect on the clinic and some aspects of protein-nitrogen metabolism in cats with chlamydia. This is evidenced, in particular, by a decrease in the activity of trans-aminating enzymes. In addition, the concentration of total protein after application of the drug reached control values. It is also very important to reduce the level of ammonia to the level of healthy animals. After treatment, the ammonia level was maintained at control values due to a slight increase in the intensity of urea formation in the liver, which is typical for healthy animals.
