Changing the household sustainability paradigm in the modern economic reality

The article considers the current macroeconomic situation, the forecast of indicators (gross domestic product, consumer price index, nominal wages) in the context of the impact on household sustainability. In Russia, a balance of population distribution by place of permanent residence between urban and rural areas has been achieved at around 3:1, which corresponds to the global trends. We have revealed the growing interest of households to the dacha settlement not only as a place of seasonal residence, recreation, work in a distance (remote) mode, but also as a platform for ensuring food security. In the medium term we can expect the trend of consolidating a distributed lifestyle in the coordinates "apartment" - "individual house, house in a dacha settlement". Within its framework, it is possible to realize the growing demand of households for alternative places of their activities.
