Changing the living conditions and placement of population as the key factors of demographic development

The issues of demographic development are considered in relation to the spatial organization of society. Emphasis is placed on the processes of reproduction, natural and mechanical movement of population in urban areas. The main indicators are the number of urban and rural population, natural increase of population, and net migration. It is shown that the placement of population, that had developed in the industrial age, hampers tackling the tasks of the population saving and demographic development.
