Change of the correctional institution as a result of the social behaviour of the convicted person

The article deals with the essence of changing the type of correctional institution as a measure of encouragement applied to the convict for his law-abiding behavior. The author analyzes the conditions necessary for changing the type of correctional institution. It is proposed to add to the current legislation, in terms of making an additional condition in the form of compensation for damage caused by the crime to change the type of correctional institution.
