Changes in the concentration of indicators of the anticoagulant system in the blood of pregnant women with polymorphism in the genes of the folate cycle

The paper shows changes in the concentration of indicators of the anticoagulant system in the blood of pregnant women with polymorphism of folate cycle genes, such as MTHFR, MTRR and MTR. The changes in the plasma content of antithrombin III, protein C and protein S. were considered. An increase in the concentration of antithrombin III was noted as the gestation period increased, except for the plasma values in the group of women with heterozygous polymorphism of the MTHFR gene; in the plasma of the remaining experimental groups, the concentration of antithrombin III was lower; the concentration of protein C in the blood plasma of pregnant experimental groups increased taking into account the increase in weeks of pregnancy, a significant change in the content of anticoagulant was noted in the blood plasma of the group with a heterozygous genotype of MTR gene polymorphism in the third trimester of pregnancy; the concentration of protein S in the blood plasma of women of experimental groups decreased relative to the blood plasma of women in the control group; significant changes were noted in the blood plasma of pregnant women of all experimental groups with a homozygous form of MTRR gene polymorphism and in the blood plasma of pregnant women with a heterozygous genotype of MTR gene polymorphism in the first trimester.
