Cadmium sulphate as an ion with variable valency can induce formation of active oxigen metabolites, initiat-ing peroxide oxidation of lipids (POL). As a result there formed primary, intermediate and end-products od POL, having damaging effect on cellular membranes phospholipids. Membrane toxis action leads to change water-and electrolyte excretory function of kidneys. As a target there can be membranous enzyme Na2 +, K +- ATA.
