On the basis of the multi-aspectual approach to linguistic units analysis functional peculiarities of the verbs of emotion in the Old Russian manuscripts are dealt with in terms of semantic and conceptual structure reconstruction, modulative and derivative semantic trans formations, basic trendsin their functioning.
