Changes in urban planning laws in relation to built-up areas to be developed

The article is devoted to amending the town planning code of the Russian Federation, which entered into force on 1 January 2017 concerning urban activities in terms of improving regulation for the preparation, coordination and approval of documentation for territory planning and for integrated and sustainable development of territories. We consider the new mechanisms of development of built-up areas and upgrading of the process for managing the development of built-up areas, the procedure and conditions for decision-making in respect of such territories and the conclusion of agreements on development of built-up areas and on complex development of territories.
