Measuring competences of students on the basis of problematic pedagogical situations

This paper describes the author's approach to structuring competences of students which can become the basis for measuring the quality of training in competence-based format. The problematic pedagogical situation is considered as a measuring tool of professional competences of future teachers. The examples of specific situations can be used to diagnose professional competences of future teachers of mathematics.
