In the article, the filament moisture control method used in 3D printing is based on the use of a capacitive sensor with a quartz oscillator. This approach allows you to avoid damaging the filament, but to achieve precise and on-the-fly control of the moisture content of the material, which is critical to improving the quality and reliability of 3D printing. This article also describes the disadvantages of using standard moisture meters for express analysis of thread moisture. The presented alternative method for measuring filament moisture provides its advantages and possible implementation options.
