The trend towards urbanization leads to an increase in the number of large cities. All branches of the modern city are focused on automation, digitization and wireless communication in order to cope with the growing number of consumers of various kinds of services. Relevant industries, such as transportation, may rely on joint communication in the same frequency band. Due to the use of a single frequency band, timely detection of interference is extremely important to prevent further failures in operation. The relevance of the research presented in this article is to provide technologies and methods for measuring interference in large cities. Interference directly affects the functioning of the critical infrastructure of the city, in particular transport. The results obtained directly reflect the importance of detecting interference, as well as dealing with it.
