The article discusses the results of nanoindentation and nanosclerometry of fluorphlogopite. The authors modeled the structure of fluorphlogopite using established data.. The nature of the fluorphlogopite anisotropy is identified. The layered and framework silicates are revealed as structural components in the structure of fluorphlogopite. This fact proves that high resistance to high temperstures and corrosive environments of fluorphlogopite due to the presence of halide simple mineral forms
