Studying the physiological state of sturgeon in the middle Caspian Sea

We have studied changes of a number of hematologic indicators of peripheral blood in fishes of sturgeon family (Acipenser, according to Brandt), on the example of starred sturgeon (Acipenser stellatus) and Russian sturgeon (Acipenser güldenstädtii). The insignificant deviations in structure of blood cells allowing to diagnose changes, perhaps, connected with anthropogenous influence are revealed. In peripheral blood of the studied fishes decrease quantity of erythrocytes and increase content of hemoglobin is noted. Quantitative and morphological indexes of leukocytes slightly differ from literary ones.
