Effective development of modern Russian agro-industrial complex is impossible without using new achievements in real production. A weak link here continues to be an actual study of the demand for innovations and possibilities of their promotion to the manufacturer. Many promising developments, including those into animal husbandry, do not become innovative products due to insufficient awareness of producers about the possibilities of new approaches to solving certain problems, about scientifically established new biological patterns that allow obtaining high economic effects. The study and introduction of rational reproduction technologies into sheep farming production processes, including rearing of young animals, assessment and control of their development, and improvement of the accumulated production and technical potential allow to take a different look at the economy of the industry, which, before market reforms, was not inferior to the world's leading sheep breeding enterprises. The aim of the work is to conduct an economic study of the efficiency of an innovative technology for the production of mutton based on bioenergetic assessment of the multi-fertility of ewes. Enterprises engaged in the production of mutton are offered an innovative technology for the production of mutton with early bioenergetic diagnostics of the multi-fertility of ewes, which ensures an increase in economic efficiency to 395,000.38 rubles per hundred ewes.
