The purpose of the research was to study the embryotoxic and teratogenic properties of squalene. Based on the obtained results, it was concluded that the hydrocarbon does not adversely affect the physiological state of white rats, during pregnancy and fetal development, that is, it does not have an embryotoxic and teratogenic effect.
