Study of the corrosion activity of a means for disinfection of livestock premises in the presence of animals

The article presents the results of assessing the corrosion activity of a solution of a new disinfectant under the code «TN» based on 1,3,6,8-tetraazatricyclododecane with the addition of up to 0.1 % nonionic surfactant neonol in comparison with a solution of 2 % NaOH (standard). As test objects, plates made of steel (grade ST-3), galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum (grade A) were used, from which structures, aggregates, their parts and assemblies found at veterinary surveillance facilities are made. It was found that the prototype has a very low corrosion activity, since the appearance of the plates remained unchanged, and the corrosion coefficients are very low.
