Migration of bone marrow cells in the heart

Our study focused on the dynamics of migration and comparative analysis of the distribution of sry-positive cells in the bone marrow of donors. Measurements were taken at different times after intravenous transplantation (after 1 hour, 24 hours, 1 month, 3 months) in the heart of syngeneic recipients, female CBA. The marker of donor cells was detected in the heart at all times. The level of chromosomal tags in the myocardium during long-term observations (3 months) exceeded the same indicator at an earlier point in time, which may indicate the proliferation of transplant donor bone marrow progenitor cells in the myocardium.
