Studying of a world flax collection for breeding in conditions of Rostov region

The estimation of 120 flax samples from world collection of VIR of various ecological and geographical origins on ag-riculturally valuable traits was done. Varieties, can be used for breeding of highly productive oil flax varieties in conditions of Rostov region, are isolated. The collection samples is created: with various duration of the vegetative period (75-80 days; 85-90 days); with productivity of seeds more than 120 g/m2; with weight of 1000 seeds more than 6-7 gramme; with oil seeds above 41 %; with height of plants more than 55-60 sm for double use on oil and a fibre; with high stability to fusariom (f. Lini Boll); eco-nomic valuable signs allocated on a complex.
