The content of biologically active compounds and antioxidant activity of 13 medicinal plant have been studied. They are used in the practice of Tibetan medicine in Transbaikalye for treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal tract diseases. The water extracts of Rosa fruits, Menispermum dauricum DC. herbs and Ephedra monosperma C.A. Mey. aimed at the treatment of liver inflammatory diseases have proved the highest antioxidant activity.
