Studying of isolated adverbial modifier and attributes when preparing for the Unified state exam in Russian

The problems of studying isolated circumstances and definitions in a primary school in preparation for the state final certification are revealed. The results of the analysis of theoretical material and exercises on the topic “Separation of circumstances and definitions” in various educational and methodological complexes in the Russian language and manuals for preparing for the Unified State Exam are presented, the results of the performance of the Unified State Exam tasks by these high school students on these topics are presented. It is noted that the average percentage of completion of these tasks remains low over recent years. The most common errors in isolating circumstances and definitions were identified, the frequency cases of the misuse of the participles and germs were considered, the possible causes of typical errors were identified, and exercises of an analytical-speech nature aimed at minimizing them were proposed.
