Study of polymorphous variants of serotonine receptor gene of type 2а 5-Htr2a in borderline mental disorders

Patients with dissociative (conversion) disorders (46 persons), patients with adjustment disorders (36 persons) and mentally healthy persons (85 persons) were investigated. Polymorphic variants of a gene of serotonin's receptor of type 2А (5-HTR2A) were studied. Authentic distinctions and distinctions at a level of the tendency between distribution of genotypes of locus Т102С and A-1438-G among patients and mentally healthy people were revealed, that, probably, testify to the contribution of polymorphic locus of a gene 5-HTR2A in development of neurotic mental disorders.
