Study of the tale "The overcoat" by N.V. Gogol in the 11th class of the Armenian school

The methods of study and interpretation of the tale “the Overcoat” by N.V. Gogol in the 11th class of the Armenian school is considered in the general context of modern methods of studying the Russian language, literature and culture in the CIS countries. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the image of Akaky Akakievich Bashmachkin and the complex artistic symbolism of Gogol’s text. As a conclusion, a set of tasks related to the spheres of education, education, ethics, aesthetics, cognitive science, linguistics, literary studies, linguistic and social culture, which allows to solve the lesson organized in the described way, is given.
