Study of interrelation problem of academic disciplines at physical education institutions

The article actualizes the existing problem of academic disciplines interrelation at physical education universities in the process of professional competencies development of future specialists in the field of physical education and sports. The analysis of the main educational programs in the major 49.03.01 «Physical education», educational program specialization «Physical education» and «Sports training in a selected sport» is conducted. A partial interrelation of educational and professional disciplines with the chosen sport of students is determined. Information on preliminary research of the problem under study based on the results of a survey of graduate students is provided. There is an urgent need to organize joint work with departments of specialized disciplines to correct the content of curriculum in accordance with the specialization of the student. Prospects for further development of the department research topic are outlined.
