Study of psychological features the future of railway transport engineers

The article deals with the problem of compliance of individual psychological characteristics of the individual with the requirements of the profession of railway transport engineer. The empirical study presents the results of the conducted methods for studying the volume, switching and stability of attention in students, identifying neuroticism, extra-introversion, character accentuations, reactive and personal anxiety. Comparisons of the results of boys and girls reveal significant differences and some inconsistencies that may manifest themselves in future professional activities.
