Studying the role of women in the economy of Afghanistan

Afghanistan is one of the most unsuitable countries in terms of women's life, work and education. Negative and discriminatory attitudes towards women in Afghanistan have seriously affected women's employment, income and general status. Women are the center of the family and half of the population of society, the presence and active role of women in the economic sphere is very important for achieving economic growth and prosperity. The plans and efforts of the Afghan Government and the international community over the past 20 years to support women in the form of various programs, such as education and job creation, as well as other programs that were important for the empowerment of women, have been somewhat effective. This article focuses on employment opportunities, problems and the importance of empowering Afghan women to participate in the country's economy and shows that religious extremism, social traditions, war and insecurity are among the most serious problems for women in Afghanistan.
