The study of design and design technologies in the process of professional training and retraining of a technology teacher

The features of teaching design and engineering technologies are considered on the example of the use of Autodesk AutoCAD and ASCON KOMPAS-3D programs in the process of professional training and retraining of technology teachers at the Moscow State Regional University. A comparison of the effectiveness of these programs in solving the same type of design problems is made. The analysis of expediency of their application in the educational process is carried out.
