Studying the actinobacteria resistance to vanadium salts

Vanadium salts-resistance of 64 pure actinobacterial cultures from the Regional Specialized Collection of Alkanotrophic Microorganisms lEGM was studied depending on nutrient medium pH. Minimal inhibition concentrations were determined for these strains. No correlation was detected between the species position of the actinobacterial strains smdied and their resistance to vanadium salts. 2-4 fold increase in actinobacterial resistance was found in neutral pH medium compared to acidic and alkaline media. Actinobacterial strains resistant to high concentrations of vanadium salts were selected.
