Study of 2-phuril (1, 3-dioxalan) on the technological characters of sunflower seed qualities

The influence of terms and multiplicity of the furolane application on the technological characters of sunflower seed quali-ties was studied. It is established that the application of preparation is most effective during the phase beginning of budding and makes possible to increase 1000 seeds weight in average on 8.83-8.85%, in comparison with the control, increases evenness of seeds in the raceme of all studied sunflower varieties, oil content in seeds on 1.0-5.7%. And in this case the huskness in the aver-age zone of raceme of varieties R-453 and SPK increases on 0.7-9.2% (12-18% in the control), and in the peripheral zone of ra-ceme it is lowered on 2.2-8.0% in comparison with the control.
