The study of the influence of various factors on fertility in Russia by means of econometric modeling

The following article is devoted to the comprehensive study of the factors that influence the birthrate in Russia in the period from 1990 - 2014. The most significant conditions that have an impact on the number of newborn babies have been revealed. Different methods have been used in the process of study: method of analysis the matrix of correlation coefficients, regression analysis, and it is necessary to mention that the adequacy, quality of the model and its parameters have also been examined. On the basis of the work carried out the authors highlight the key issues, features of the birthrate in Russia, and give recommendations for improving the demographic situation.
