«I am a Patrial. Deprivation of Rights. Lack of Accountability. Failure to Act»: the Core of the Pseudopatriotic Project from the Federal Chamber of Advocates` Repressive Teachers

The article provides a comprehensive legal and institutional analysis of the project «I Am a Citizen: Law. Responsibility. Action» initiated by the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation. The author argues that, under the guise of patriotic and civic education, the project actually performs ideological indoctrination and political mobilization functions that are alien to the legal profession as an independent institution of civil society. The study demonstrates that the Federal Chamber’s involvement in such initiatives reflects a deep institutional crisis of independence and its transformation into a tool of state propaganda. Special attention is given to the content of the program, its contradiction to constitutional values, the substitution of citizens’ rights with duties, and serious violations of attorney– client confidentiality through the digital service «Attorney’s Secret». The author concludes that the project epitomizes the ongoing «seizure» of the Bar and legal profession in Russia and marks the Federal Chamber’s final departure from its human rights mission.
