Jan Hus and the protection of the national rights of Bohemia in the context of his activities as the rector of the University of Prague

Jan Hus (c. 1371–1415) was one of the key figures of Bohemia, who had a significant impact on the development of Bohemian identity and national rights in the early 15th century. As the rector of the University of Prague, he became an important representative of reformist ideas and a defender of his country's autonomy from external interests. This article provides an analysis of his philosophical and theological works, as well as his political activities, highlighting his contributions to the defense of the national rights of the Bohemian people.
