Criminalistic characteristics of crimes: unresolved issue

N this article, the author continues the cycle of his scientific publications, which are devoted to the problems of theory, legal regulation and the practice of knowing and proving the circumstances of a criminal case. The author methodologically builds on the general philosophical laws of people's knowledge of objective reality and the logical justification of their conclusions. At the same time, the author takes into account the reasons that prompted the introduction of victim status in the criminal procedure law. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that the victim is a fullfledged subject of evidence in a criminal case, and therefore he is endowed with broad legal capabilities that correspond to his status and purpose.
