The article deals with the question of neologisms with the meaning of violence, which name phenomena, processes, persons, circumstances from different spheres of human life. It is noted that a new vocabulary describing hostile relations has been actively appearing in recent years in connection with social cataclysms, such as the coronavirus infection pandemic, political events, in particular the annexation of the Crimea. It is shown that the emergence of a significant layer of neolexics is due to the development of Internet interaction, where the ability to publicly express one’s opinion and anonymity gives rise to new communication formats, including those related to violence.
