Language of judicial document: the usage and codification

The study examines the language of judicial documents. The article deals with the theoretical foundations of legal language. It also considers usual and codified structures in the judicial documents. The author analyses the decreets of Anytown and their common grammar and stylistic mistakes. She proves that the process of creating legal wording caused by several linguistic and extralinguistic factors. The results of this research can be practically used in the University course "Legal linguistics".
