Minority languages of the small-numbered peoples in Siberia: language policy specifics

The paper is devoted to the description of the specifics of language policy in the Siberia region. The problem of the minority language preservation is defined as an issue of the preservation of the national identify of the ethnic minorities. Main causes of disappearance of some minority languages in Russia associated with the educational policy in the Soviet period of time are outlined herein.
