Language capital - resource of national modernization

The article is devoted to the disclosure of the role of language capital as an important resource for the modernization of Kazakhstani society. The paper shows the dependence of the state and quality of language capital on the social, legal status of the main languages, the current language situation and language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The role and place of languages in Kazakhstan is determined primarily by the Constitution and other official documents. The authors explore the potential of the linguistic capital of citizens of the country in solving problems of the economic, political and cultural and other spheres of society.
